Ulster County Archives
About
Established in 1683, the Ulster County Clerk's Office preserves, maintains, and provides access to the public records of the County of Ulster. Since 2000, the Ulster County Archives has operated as a division of the Clerk's office serving as the public face of our records management program and operating a records donation program serving to broaden the scope of materials preserved in our care. To that end, the Ulster County Archives accepts donations of both private and public records that testify broadly to the history and people of Ulster County, and works to provide in-person and digital reference access to records dating back as early as 1658.
Ulster County Archives is a member of the Southeastern New York Library Resources Council.
