These films and videos were produced by the Athletics Department of Locust Valley High School that date from 1963 to 2008.
This collection contains 16mm films, Super 8mm films, VHS tapes, and DVDs. The 16mm films date from 1963 to 1967 and were processed by F. Gerard Moran’s Photo Service in East Meadow, New York. The Super 8 films were processed by both Kin-O-Lux, Inc. in Manhattan and mostly by Lawrence W. Swensen’s Photo Service in East Meadow, New York. The Super 8 films were shot by Locust Valley High School teacher and golf team coach, Ralph A. Nielsen (1943 - 2005). The video tapes were partially shot by Locust Valley High School teachers Frank Fuggini and Glenn C. Lavey.
These films and videos were uploaded to New York Heritage thanks to the Locust Valley Library’s partnership with LILRC’s Accessing Archives Program in 2026.
