Marcellus Free Library
About
Nestled in the Village of Marcellus at the corner of Orange and Maple Streets, beside the Upper Crown Mill Development, our eco-friendly library serves as a vibrant community hub. We house a collection of approximately 30,000 items and offer a range of modern amenities, including a fax machine, six public-use Internet computers, two tablets, a color printer, a color photocopier, and two tutoring rooms. Visitors are also welcome to enjoy our self-service café.
Upstairs, we are proud to feature the "Friends" Community Room—available free of charge to local non-profit groups—and the Martha Lollis Media Room, equipped with Zoom conferencing technology.
Our children’s area is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed to inspire young readers. For teens, we offer a dedicated games room featuring a large-screen TV, a Nintendo Switch, and a variety of board games to enjoy with friends.
Marcellus Free Library is a member of the Central New York Library Resources Council.
