The Sound and Story Project is an expanding collection of over 200 diverse interviews that vividly capture life in the Hudson Valley. Recorded often in collaboration with local libraries historical societies and other cultural institutions , these interviews paint a rich sonic portrait of the region. The collection brings to life the voices of the Hudson Valley—from the workers in the Kingston Brickyards to the historic Palatine Hotel in Newburgh. We are continually adding new material, with more interviews planned over the next year, so we encourage you to check back often to discover more compelling listening.
