The Village of Castleton Historian's Collection includes documentation of industries, businesses, organizations, events, people, and places in and around the Village of Castleton-on-Hudson in southwestern Rensselaer County. Materials in the collection include photographs, original documents, ephemera, newspaper clippings, research notes, and photocopied materials. Many of the materials in the collection are of unknown provenance. The collection is located in the Village's Clerk's Office (85 S. Main Street, Castleton) and is available to researchers by appointment with the Village Historian.
