This collection of 16mm films capture Shelter Island and the surrounding towns from 1925 to 1952.
These films were first inventoried thanks to NYU’s Regional Media Legacies Project in 2021 and were digitized by Historic Films in Greenport, New York in 2022.
These films were uploaded to New York Heritage thanks to the Long Island Library Resources Council in 2025.
