Due to storage conditions many of these maps are degrading and in delicate condition. However, their value to understanding Brightwaters Village planning and development is intrinsic in nature. Each map varies in its creation and uniqueness, from professionally drafted by New York State or Islip County, to hand drawn maps produced by founding developers and residents.

Maps of a Developing Brightwaters from 1906-1996 and early advertisements. Approximately 41 in total, with inclusive dates ranging from 1906-1996.
